The target was Kassel. The Bomb load was 10X500 GP’s and 2X500 lB’s The weather at take-off was bad. About 22,000 ft. the contrails were very heavy and persistent, and were bad all the way in, and out. There were no fighters or flak. The weather upon landing was very bad, but after 2 passes at the field we made it. I flew with my own crew.
