No. 10 Dec. 18, 1944 The target was Cologne. We got past the IP, but the mission was recalled, No credit for the mission. Editor's Note: On January 16, 1945 the order came through to count 18 December 1944 as a combat mission. Several of the other diaries confirm this. So it is possible the Lt. Robert H. Dee, Jr. should be credited 36 missions. Bob notes no recognition of this in his diary. Therefore we will continue to use the mission numbering that he used. That is, the next mission is Mission 10 again.

Lt. Robert H. Dee, Jr. was the regular Co-Pilot for the Byron L. Magness 601st Crew. On occasion, he flew with other crews.
