Target: Nurnberg, Germany

February 21, 1945

Today we went to Nurnberg again. Their idea was to have us blow the town apart so the Jerrys couldn’t set up their government there. Today made twenty-five missions and I’m more afraid of these missions than I ever was. Today we didn’t get any flak over the target but at the front on the way in and out we got fifteen holes all told. One hole was about two feet long in the right wing. We had another piece come into the cockpit and bounce around awhile. We were on oxygen five hours.
