May 21, 1944
Another day gone. The rest of the crew took off for London but I’m content to stay here on the base.

May 22, 1944
Killed another day sleeping. The Jerries shot up our field last night but didn’t do much damage. The boys hit Kiel, Germany today. No losses from our group.

May 23, 1944: Another day gone. The Jerries were over again last night. Did no damage.
