Aircraft Engine Plan, Munich, Germany

July 12, 1944
I was awakened at 0500. Briefed at 0600 and our target was an aircraft engine plant at Munich, Germany. Take off was 0910. Hit a little flak on the way in. Flak was heavy and accurate in the target area. Bombed P.F.F. through 8/10 undercast. Carried 6 –500 lb. incendiaries and 4 – 500 lb. G.P. bombs. Bombed from 24,000 ft. No enemy fighters. Got a few flak holes.

MISSION # 21 COMPLETED.
