**25 September 1944**
**Target** **Frankfurt, Germany**
September 25, 1944 Mission: Frankfurt, Germany We bombed at 25,000 feet to hit some marshalling yards. We encountered moderate flak, but suffered no battle damage. The temperature was - 41 degrees. We were airborne 7-1/2 hours. We were on oxygen for 3 hours. We had a very good bomb strike. I will receive the air medal shortly.

For the first part of his tour S/Sgt. Kenneth A. Green was a Gunner on Kenneth S. Hastings' 603rd Squadron crew.
