Pinner’s crew is a bunch of swell guys and are now living in our hut. Scofield, Huey, Ferrow, and Isaacson are some of their names.

Date: November 29, 1944
Mission: Misburg, Germany

We bombed a synthetic oil factory using PFF at 26,000 feet. I flew the ball turret position. We were airborne 8-1/2 hours, and on oxygen 5 hours. The temperature was –46 degrees. We encountered moderate and accurate flak, but received no battle damage. Very good strikes were reported.
