Target – Metz, France
Date – November 9, 1944

We bombed gun emplacements in support of the Third Army. The guns were in a series of forts about Metz. We had to change ships just before take off and were so delayed that we missed the assembly of our group. We went over the target with [the] 91st group, flying tail in the high element, high squadron.
