Target: Neuss, Germany

Tuesday, January 23, 1945:

Eighteenth Mission, Neuss, 5 and 1/2 hours. Plenty of flak, accurate. Col. Hunter hit by flak over target. Fighters reported, did not see any. Rough!! Lead high element. Third Air Medal.
