Twenty-Third Mission, Nuremburg, 9 and 1/2 hours. Little flak, very accurate, big hole in waist near ball turret. No fighters. Deputy lead, high squadron.

Editor's note: The 398th Misssion on 21 Feb 1945 was to Nurnburg, Germany. While the diary indicates Nuremburg, it is presumed that Lt. Weidig meant Nurnberg.
