**Target** **St. Dezier, France**
May 9, 1944 Mission #2 Mission: St. Dizier, France Target: Twin-engine airfield Load: 2700 gals of gas & 38-100 lb. bombs Altitude: 20,000 feet Remarks: One division. Fighter supports all the way, P-51s, P-47s, & P-38s. Flak caused six small holes battle damage. The flak did not bother me too much. Target was knocked to hell. Mission a success. Flight Time: 6:50 hours
