Fugge Mission No. 19

**24 June 1944**
**Target:** **Rocket Bomb Emplacements, Belloy-sur-Somme, France**
June 24, 1944 Got up at 0500 and our target was more rocket bomb emplacements in the area of Lille, France. Take off was 0750.and we carried 18 – 250 lb. G.P. bombs with delayed action fuses. Saw a little flak. The target was closed so we couldn’t bomb because it was a pin point job so we dropped the bombs in the channel. Enemy fighters were around but they didn’t come in close enough to fire at. Got one flak hole. Landed at 1300. Don’t know if we’ll get credit for this mission or not. I hope so.
