Slept till noon. After chow I had to report to Squadron Operations and Capt. Markeley asked me what I wanted to do after I complete my tour. All I said was I wanted to get back to my wife. He put me in for an instructor in the zone of the interior, the good old U.S.A.
Ive still got five missions to go. Got my little motor running and it was a job. I had to hook it in series with 3 lights, an electric iron and a transformer I bought in town. My bunk is really starting to look like a junk shop. Ive got a box full of wires, resistors, switches and whatever else I could pick up around camp.
