October 1, 1944

The following information was received too late to be entered in September’s squadron history. A squadron order (dated September 27, 1944) appointed the following men Squadron Flight Commanders: 1st Lt. C.E. Khourie, 1st Lt. M.W. Magnan, 2nd Lt. V.F. Moore, and 2nd Lt. K.S. Hastings.

The following men were assigned to the 603rd Squadron (date September 28, 1944):

1. 1st Lt. R.M. Sheely
2. 2nd Lt. R.H. Robinson
3. 2nd Lt. W.M. Bryan
4. 2nd Lt. C.E. McQuitty.

The following men completed their tour of duty (dated September 27, 1944):

1. S/Sgt. J.M. Echevarria
2. S/Sgt. O. Nelson
