398th Proclamation

The proclamation below was presented by the Oyster Bay Town Council of New York to Cate Ludlam Frankenheimer in 2004. It was given to Cate to bring to England to be part of the 398th Bomb Group Memorial Association's One Last Look Tour of Normandy and the old 398th Base at Nuthampstead England. The tour was in June 2004 and commemorated 60 years since D-Day.

Cate recalls: "The citation from the Oyster Bay Town Council is especially precious to me, and I loved presenting it to the group on our D-Day trip in 2004."
