Notes:

  1. S/Sgt. D.M. Skinner, Waist Gunner and S/Sgt. E. Blevins, Tail Gunner are thought to be placed correctly, but could be reversed.
  2. Brown's crew is indicated on this photo in front of the Stinker, a 602nd aircraft with a 8 July 1944 date on the photo. However, the Brown crew did not fly on this day or the previous day but on 6 July 1944.
  3. The aircraft 42-102597 K8-V Stinker, did not fly a mission on 8 July 1944, but it did fly the previous day on 7 July 1944 with Pilot Rudow, who also flew on the 8th but in a different aircraft.
  4. Thus it appears that the Brown crew and the Stinker were free on the 8th so they had their picture taken. Note though the crew did have parachutes and Mae West's on, so perhaps they wanted their normal garb on or they had a training flight or cancelled mission that day.
